VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROJECT COORDINATOR & WOMEN CUM NUTRITION OFFICER
Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services (KIDS), a non-governmental and non-profitable organization working in the field of Health, Nutrition, Climate change, Food security, Livelihood and WASH since 2005 in Lumbini and Karnali Provinces of Nepal. KIDS is planning to implement Empowered citizens are promoting food and nutrition governance in three municipalities (Kapilvastu, Mahrajgunj and Budhhbhumi Municipalities) in Kapilvastu District” project, jointly with Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) in the partnership with Welthungerhilfe. Connecting to this program, we would like to invite application from the interested Nepalese candidates who are eligible, accountable and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following positions:
1. Position: Project Coordinator
Number of vacancy: 1
Job Location: KIDS Central Office, Kapilvastu with 80% field visit in program area
Required qualifications and experience
- Master degree in Public Health/ Nutrition/Agriculture with at least 1 year working experience or Bachelor’s in Public Health/ Food and Nutrition/ Agriculture with at least 3 years’ experience in related field.
- Good computer skill having ability to communicate in English and Nepali both verbal and written. Awadhi language is preferable.
- Excellent coordination skills with government and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Good knowledge and skills in
- program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Two-wheeler driving license
Key Responsibilities
- Overall planning and execution of project, ensuring financial compliance;
- Monitoring and Supervision of project team;
- Documentation and reporting of the processes, outputs and outcomes with quality assurance of data; Develop periodic progress and programmatic reports;
- Coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders, both at provincial & local level, including technical support for policy advocacy and documentation.
2. Position: Women Cum Nutrition Officer
Number of Vacancy:: 1 (Female)
Job Location: KIDS Central Office, Kapilvastu with 80% field visit in program area
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Food and Nutrition with 2 years’ experience in related field. Good computer skill having ability to communicate in English, Nepali and Local language both verbal and written. à Good community mobilization, interpersonal, networking, communication and management skills.
- Excellent coordination skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team and remote/difficult circumstances
- Two-wheeler driving license
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to implement project activities at the Municipal level in close coordination with relevant stakeholders, including proper documentation and timely reporting;
- Prepare and implement Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) in coordination with project members;
- Manage and supervise staff and ensure the community participation in project activities along with other software aspects of the project when necessary
